The Eloquia is a very secretive organization, many are not even certain they still exist anymore. They used to be a prestigious and exalted faction of knights and scholars eagerly protecting and preserving knowledge for future generations. However, there were some very powerful people who wished to hoard the knowledge for themselves, or destroy it so others could not use it. They fought in numerous wars against their clan, but ultimately fell to kingdoms with more money and greater reach, and fell into exile. Their knowledge was scattered to the wind, many tales and legends were lost, and the world is worse off for it.
Still there are some who believe the Eloquia are still out there, preserving knowledge with what little they have left. There numbers may be few, but their mission still delivers a message of hope to the world.
