Mjevasra spans the shore of the Brig’s Bay. Mjevasra is a nation of moon worshippers, Mjevasra is ruled by the Church of the Red Moon. The Church is devoted wholly to Brigantia, who is usually worshipped as a Sun Goddess associated with fire and protection. However, inside the borders of Mjevasra, Citizens look to the red moon as a blessing of Brigantia, and therefore associate her more so with the moon than the sun. Fire is a symbol of rebirth and purification, as is the color red. The church and nobility of Mjevasra are often seen dressed in fine red garments. Not many in this land worship other Gods, it is discouraged and taboo to do so.

Mjevasra is home to a large number of clerics and priests who practice in fire magic. However, fire magic obtained through sources other than the worship of Brigantia is seen as heretical, an afront to her divinity and rule over fire. Therefore, worship of Elementals and Devils is extremely forbidden, and open worship is punishable by death. Similarly, fire sorcery, that is, arcane magics involving fire are also considered taboo, and, while not punishable by death, are punishable by jailtime if misused.

The lands of Mjevasra are wet and swampy, the name “Mjevasra” is a combination for the nation’s words for “moon” and “swamp.” As such, few live outside of the cities within the borders of Mjevasra. The two major hubs are Wonder’s Hollow and Wosne, both of which are ruled by the Church, but couldn’t be more different in their approach to worship.
