Home of the Goldenbeards, Chel-Knittah is the southernmost Dwarfhold that still exists to this day. It exists on the southern edge of the Snowwheat Mountains in the Bitter Plains, but lie outside of the Bitterlands. The Goldenbeards are as proud as any other Dwarven clan, and take great pride in their expansive above and below ground farms. Their golden blonde hair gives them their iconic name, as they spend most of their days above ground, tending to their farms, a feat that seems strange to the other Dwarven strongholds.
Their home of Chel-Kittah is not a single stronghold but rather a city state that stretches a vast network of hill strongholds that report to the central mountain stronghold. The hills produce the wheat and other produce to be distributed across the lands. The Fatherkillers reside here, a name given to them for their tradition of patricide; when a father’s time comes, it is seen as the first born son’s duty to end his life before sickness or madness sets in.
