Situated in the northern wall of the Clayfist Canyon, Chel-Rochabni is quite a unique stronghold. Home to the Clayfists, Had Moth is comprised of several strata that work their way up the canyon wall. The kingdom works its way about 300 feet up the massive 4000 foot wall, so there is no true threat of an attack above. No one has ever launched a true march on the stronghold, its strategic position is unmatched, the dry canyon is scarce of life for food, there is only one angle to attack from, and retreat is extremely difficult, and it’s easy to become lost in the canyon.
This hasn’t stopped them from being as bulky and militaristic as any other Dwarven stronghold worth its name. The Clayfist Dwarves are skilled in surviving in the scarcest of conditions, and are said to be able to get by on one glass of water, a leg of deer, and a cotton shirt for a month in the middle of the desert. The Clayfists are incredibly skilled potters, which is apparent from the minute you walk into their stronghold, clay decorates the streets and walls of nearly every inch of the stronghold, vases and other decorative creations line the wall of nearly every house and are used to commemorate achievements, weddings, deaths, victories, and other life moments. columns of marble are coated in clay as are walls of stone, and etched into or painted on the clay are the stories of the Clayfists.
