The northernmost Dwarven stronghold on Yludel is home to the Spiritseers, an extremely paranoid and superstitious society. They are rarely seen outside of their own established boundaries, as their paranoia leads them not to trust many outsiders. Even though they will accept outsiders into their city, there are many areas which are labeled off limits for one reason or another, but any attempt at discovering those reasons will be met with a frantic no. The halls of Chel-Sheol are said to be haunted by spirits of ancestors long past, giving the clan its strange names. They are extremely protective of the ancestors, caring more for their gravesites than their own personal wellbeing.

The frigid weather of the northern Frontier Mountains keep the Dwarves in the stronghold most of the year anyway, relying on underground farms to keep their hunger sated. The cold puts not a weight on the soul of Dwn Theo Duskfall Spiritseer, the paranoid king who oversees the cold and dark stronghold. The King is chosen by their ancestors, ghosts of important fallen ancestors are tied to these halls by important belongings of theirs, where they are said to decide upon who they believe is best suited to lead the clan into the future.
