A mysterious and cold land filled with nature worshippers, Thyste is ruled over by a Grand Druid, someone believed to have a great connection to nature. When one Grand Druid dies or is casted out, the next in line takes a great journey into the frozen wood that borders part of the nation. Within the forest lies a cave, rich with amethyst. The mission of the new Grand Druid is to bring back a geode of amethyst, which is fashioned into the gems of their crown.
The people of Thyste, even if not avid about taking the path of a druid, still feel a strong connection to nature, most of the population being Cleanjan, this is not surprising. They flock to parts of the world they feel have great natural power, such as forest and mountains, cliffs and lakes, and the sort. As such, Thyste values the protection of Nature above all else. Many of Thyste’s cities incorporate features of nature into them, rather than paving out a section of nature to craft a city.
