This day is not looked forward to by criminals and prisoners. The day is the mark of many executions from heinous criminals. The day celebrates Samson and his ever-coming judgement. If you were rotting in a jail cell awaiting execution, and you were contemplating escape, you would want to leave before the day of Scalerite. Held on the middle day of Samson’s Roar, most of those awaiting execution are offered solace in the fact that they die by the hand of Samson, and will find their way to a just afterlife, if they accept their fate. Try to run, and it is said Samson will get you, and then your fate will be much worse.
