A primeval being, some say Novaean has existed as long as the universe in which we live. He takes on many forms, but the most popular is said to be that of a large whale, with squid-like tentacles in place of a tail. Feeding on the primal fears of living beings, Novaean claims the depths of the ocean as his domain, relying mostly on apparitions to spread fear.
Novaean relies little on worship, although some pay him homage hoping to escape his grasp, but rather, feeds off fear. He is served by no clerics or paladins, but rather makes pacts with many warlocks to spread fear throughout the realm.
