A Rebis is a combination deity, one that, in a distant past may have been worshipped as two or more distinct beings, but nowadays is worshipped as a single deity. These deities may be worshipped in many different forms and the method of combining two or more Gods can vary from culture to culture. Frithsaet, for example, was at one point worshipped as two different Gods, Frithye, God of Time and Creator of the Amfos, and Hasaet, Goddess of Nature and Creator of the Oidfos. But myth tells of their unification through marriage, a Hieros Gamos, that saw them transformed into a singular deity that united the Elven races. Other examples include Oubaste-Sahmat, who is still sometimes worshipped as distinct deities, but overwhelming represents a singular being that was unified by worshippers. A Rebis might even be worshipped as separate deities in one culture, but as a unified spirit in another.
