Acedia the Idle is the Prophet of Sloth. Acedia tempts and tricks mortals with a life of ease. He targets the aimless, the wanderers, and the undesiring. Those with little ambition in life are easiest for Acedia to corrupt. She takes great pleasure in watching someone wanderer through life without purpose, ultimately leading to a life of pain and sadness. Acedia watches as apathy takes a person over, and they will choose inaction over even helping a loved one in a time of need. Occasionally she will see to take a great challenge upon herself to erode the will of a strong soul to the point of complete and utter apathy and carelessness. Acedia finds enemies in Airmed for her subversion of mental health, as well as Atos for encouraging listlessness over diligence, and Mercury for her sloth.
