Saint Atos the Steadfast is the Prophet of Diligence. In life he was a soldier, willing to lay down his life for the nation he served. Which nation that is has been lost to time, but his teachings remain to this day. He was more than willing to die to protect the life of even to poorest of beggar children or the noblest of lords. He valued each and every life above his own, protecting those he swore an oath to was above any other meaning in his life. Unfortunately, his life was taken, but he died protecting his nation, and in death, he serves as an example of sacrifice, that you must be willing to lay down your life for something greater than yourself. He is the patron saint of soldiers.
