Saint Mercury the Fast is the Prophet of Courage. In life, Mercury risked life and limb to deliver messages to and from oppressed peoples and nations at war. From families divided by the borders of warring nations or slaves and prisoners to their spouses and children. Mercury was no stranger to prisons, torture, or fleeing, but still, even with his life under threat, he chose to continue. For such an act, he was revered beyond death as the Prophet of Kindness. He also acts as messenger of the Celestials, taking messages from one God to another, or to mortals. He is the Patron Saint of Messengers.
