Home to the Everbeards, Chel-Nekhashi is one of the most expansive Dwarven strongholds on Yludel, it stretches for miles and miles underground from the Finis Mountains south of the Mlakheym Ruins and expands south through the lands. An inquisitive bunch, the Everbeards have built an extremely intricate and expansive strongholds. Chel-Nekhashi is full of odd passageways that lead to nothing, stairs that end in a wall, and even false throne rooms. at this point, it’s unknown for what purpose these structures were originally built, but nowadays they confuse visitors and citizens alike.

The Everbeards are the great inventors of Dwarvenkind, leading some to say they have more in common with Gnomes than Dwarves. Chel-Nekhashi is also unique in that it uses more wood than stone in its buildings and structures, making it a wonderful change of scene from the rest of the stone strongholds. Parts of Chel-Nekhashi are cold enough to sustain ice throughout them, and the Dwarves take full advantage of that, building full rooms, halls, and monuments out of ice. The ice, which permeates through the stronghold no matter how hard the Dwarves might attempt to rid themselves of it, appears to be magic and also appears to be growing throughout the open sections of the stronghold. Many of the Everbeard Dwarves worship Gods of ice and winter, and some turn to destructive Gods of these domains, whether it be to ask for mercy or spread their destructive punishment.
