Named after the first settler of this land, Adr, Adrian is the capital of The Bitterlands and a major trade center for the country. The people of Adrian make their livings primarily as farmers, bakers, and merchants, possibly all three at once. Most everyone has a job that relates to farming the wheat in some way. Adrian is lucky in its southern placement and low altitude, the wheat sees very little offseason and can grow most months. The common people of Adrian, like the rest of the nation, are generally cautious, but overall friendly, once you break past their xenophobia. Don’t expect just anyone to be allowed to handle their wheat though, they do not take kindly to strangers thinking they are as good of farmers as they are.
