The Sfirot, also known as the Tree of Magic, is the medium through which magic is used by mages, artifacts, and beings with inherent magical ability. A collection of 10 Emanations, with Qati seated at the throne at the top, with the bottom being the Emanation of the Kingdom, through which baser life forms, such as Human, Elves, Dwarves, and others, can tap into the tree. The Tree of Magic permeates all planes of existence, and different beings access the Tree of Magic through different Sfirot; beings such as Dragons, Fiends, Angels, and Fey, are powerful enough to tap directly into the Tree without going through the Emanation of the Kingdom. The flow of magic is taken in by the leaves of the tree similar to how a physical tree takes in sunlight, converting the raw magical energy into a form more malleable by life, allowing them to manipulate reality to their will. However, just as sap of a tree is not very nutritious in is most base form, magic runs from the tree in a weak and unimpressive form. But philosophers that master their craft learn to concentrate that energy in order to achieve greater feats.
