Muse of Dance and Geometry

tur-SICK-core, Rhymes with “Burr tick roar.”

Tersigore is the Muse of Dance and Geometry. Tersigore is primarily concerned with the placement of objects in physical space, and as such her inspirations typically revolve around positioning objects in relation to one another. This extends to the arts and sciences in the form of dance; those enlightened by Tersigore are able to see the world in a more relative view and envision much more clear the interaction of two seemingly unrelated objects through their relative positions. This understanding is fundamental to the art of dance, as dancers must be able to navigate obstacles and interact with other dancers without stumbling in order to present the illusion of fluidity. Tersigore is often depicted with flowing water, as her blessing helps the enlightened to envision the space of an object or creature over the course of time.

Tersigore is often looked to by soldiers, at least more so than any other Muse, as her learnings can help sure up their footwork and prevent costly mistakes on the battlefield, which have much more dire consequences than on the stage. Generals may also look to Tersigore for her connection to strategy, when they can see a battlefield as a series of spatial relationships and predict the flow of battle, they are better able to strategically place their troops in an advantageous position for a battle.
