God of Madness and Laughter. Walkyrie.

Taddeo was born and raised an actor, travelling the realms as a part of a troupe in which he performed in a Pagliacci act as the fool. He was an eager young man who loved acting, but his mind was weak, and he began to resent the crowd and his family. He sought out a greater power to improve his act, and the World Tree Woddrasil answered, sending him a pomegranate from its branches. He was more nimble, quick-witted, and flexible, which saw his act improve and the fans and his family compliment his newfound ability. However, he grew increasingly vexed by the crowd’s laughter; the voices in his head, provided courtesy of the world tree, tortured him until his breaking point.

When he finally snapped, he broke into a fit of laughter, and murdered his family and acting troupe in front of a sold out show, it took until he began killing crowd members for them to realize it wasn’t a part of the show. He began a terrible killing spree which ultimately led to the death of many, until he was finally stopped and executed, all throughout which he laughed. In his madness, he allowed for the world tree to abscond with his world, and gave him the power to morph it as he saw fit. His first act was to revive his family, but not before attaching abyssal strings that saw them turned into his play things, forced to play out sickeningly violent acts on each other for eternity.

He sports the same outfit he wore in his acting career, the paint on his face has twisted into a melted smile, and his lack of size or formidable strength is made up for for his utter lack of fear. While other Walkyries fear their defeat at the hand of their superiors and thus do not act upon their power plays, Taddeo fears nothing of the sort even to the point of openly disclosing his plans through his eternal laughter.

Under his rule, his branch has been twisted into a land of eternal laughter. An almost circus like city lies at the center of an otherwise barren wasteland, which is only interrupted by gaping, laughing mouths scattered across the wastes, which only echo the horrible laughter from Taddeo. The Circus mimics a fair, full of twisted versions of fun rides and demented games that often see the victim subjected to some form of torture litter Taddeo’s playscape. In the center of the city is a large tent, in which Taddeo sits, surrounded by his former acting troupe and family, who he tortures still for an eternity. The overwhelming dread of his realm is mad all the much worse by the grotesque crooked smile, it forces across the face of all those who step foot in its borders.
