Gishakituyn is the capital of the island nation of Opaal. It lies on the southern coast of the island, far from the reaches of Illythkos rule. It is the only city built by the new inhabitants of the island, with the cities of Pendrop and Caerigalli existing long before Opaal settled. The citizens of Gishakituyn adopted the Angelic faith from the city of Caerigalli, with the small addition of Paal as the Saint of Defiance and Rebirth and the Patron Saint of Rebels.
When the Opaal found their new home, and established their capital, many people changed their name as a sign of devotion and rebirth. They took Draconic names that reflected their past, their parents, or some other aspect of their life. Many began naming their children in similar ways, with names beginning with O being a signature of their culture.
