God of Nature and Time. Patron of Elves, primarily the Amfos and Oidfos. Aeon.
FRITH-sayt, Rhymes with “With fate,” FRIT-sayt, Rhymes with “Hit fate.”
Otherwise known as the Rinafos, or King of Elves, Frithsaet is central to the pantheon of the Elves, worshipped by the Wood Elves for their tenants of protecting the wild, and High Elves for their tenants of preserving time. Frithsaet oversees the flow of time and the condition of the natural world. Because of their calm demeanor and unwavering devotion to their duties, they are also seen as a God of peace.
Frithsaet is a Rebis, two Celestials that were at one point distinct and separate but have since merged or have been forced to merge due to shifting beliefs or outside pressure. The unification of two elder Elven Gods, Frithye and Hasaet, Frithsaet was a creation of the Archons, a weapon to be used in their war with the Titans. It is unknown which God exactly was crafted to wield time and which on Nature but they were, in either case, inextricably linked. The future, unlike the past or present, is infinite, and their constant visions of a dead world scared them so. They sunk back, looking to be forgotten, so that no one would attempt to abuse their power. Though they are inseparable from the fabric of time by their own choice, this very reality would lead them to feeling like a prisoner of their duty and lead to the creation of the Elves.
Frithsaet created the High Elves, or Amfos in their native tongue, to serve as the guardians of time; surveying and protecting its flow, making sure no mere mortal disrupt the natural order of time. Worried that the Amfos would threaten their very home with technology and urbanization, they then created the Wood Elves, or Oidfos, to serve as the protectors of the natural realm of Ylembica, and to maintain the delicate balance of nature and society. However, the Amfos serve to insure the Oidfos do not laze about and become complacent, as they are prone to do so. Since then, many subspecies of Elves apart from the High Elves and Wood Elves, from the Drow to the Sea Elves to the Eladrin, crafted by other Elven deities that each fill out their own niche but ultimately borrow from the same pool of souls as all other Elves.
